General

Radstep is a step counter RPG for iPhone and Android. It reads your daily step count from Apple Health or Health Connect, and your real-world walking hatches eggs, turns up wild radmon (the game's creatures) to catch, and levels up your team. You then battle with that team through a 1,000-stage campaign and in the ranked arena, and race your friends and guild. The more you walk, the further you get.
Yes. Radstep is free to download and play: walking, catching, hatching, the campaign, the arena and all social features cost nothing. There are optional in-app purchases, an optional Radstep Pro subscription, and a premium lane for each season's Stepping Pass. See Premium & Subscriptions for details.
Radstep is available on iOS (iPhone) and Android. Download it from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. A tablet version is not currently available.
Radstep counts your steps — that's it. With your permission, it reads your daily step count from Apple Health (iOS) or Health Connect (Android), so any steps your phone or watch records count toward the game, indoors or out. There's no session to start and no GPS or route tracking. Just walk, and your steps power your adventure automatically.
No. Because Radstep reads steps your phone is already counting and uses no GPS or background location, it has very little impact on your battery. You don't need to keep the app open while you walk — your steps are picked up the next time you open it.

Account & Login

Open the app and tap Create Account. You can sign up with an email address and password, or use Sign in with Google or Sign in with Apple for a faster setup.
On the login screen, tap Forgot Password? and enter your email address. You'll receive a reset link within a few minutes. Check your spam/junk folder if it doesn't arrive. Note: if you signed up using Google or Apple, you don't have a Radstep password — use that sign-in button instead.
You can change your username in Settings → Account → Username, once every 30 days. You can also link or unlink Google and Apple sign-in under Settings → Account → Linked accounts. To change the email address on your account, contact support.
Go to Settings, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account. Deletion is permanent and immediate: your radmon, progress, items and Gold are removed right away. If you have an active subscription, cancel it separately in your app store before deleting your account.
Yes. Your account is cloud-based, so just install Radstep on your new device and log in with the same email, Google or Apple account. All your radmon, levels, steps, friends and items will be there.

Premium & Subscriptions

Radstep Pro is an optional subscription (monthly, yearly or a one-time lifetime purchase). Compared with free play it gives you:

• 3 full-XP companions instead of 1, and double the XP for your benched radmon
• 4 incubation slots instead of 2
• 20 arena matches a day instead of 10, and 6 saved arena teams instead of 3
• 30 daily Plinko balls instead of 20
• 4 streak freezes instead of 2
• Early access to new features

The premium lane of the Stepping Pass is not part of Pro: it's a separate one-time purchase for each monthly season. The current perks and prices are always shown on the Radstep Pro screen in the app.
Subscriptions are managed through Apple or Google, not directly through Radstep.

iOS: Settings app → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → Radstep → Cancel Subscription.
Android: Google Play app → Profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Radstep → Cancel.

You'll keep Pro until the end of your current billing period.
Open the Shop, open Radstep Pro and tap Restore purchases. If it still doesn't appear, sign out of Radstep and sign back in, and make sure you're using the same Apple ID or Google account you bought it with. If the issue persists, contact us with your purchase receipt.
Refunds are handled by Apple and Google under their respective policies. For iOS, visit reportaproblem.apple.com. For Android, open Google Play → Order History and request a refund there. We cannot process subscription refunds directly, but we're happy to help you navigate the process — contact us.
Radstep has two currencies. Spark is earned by playing: walking, quests, the Stepping Pass and arena season rewards. Gold is the premium currency, bought in the shop and used for premium items. Neither has any real-world cash value.

Step Tracking

First, make sure Radstep has step access. On iOS: open the Health app → Profile → Apps → Radstep → turn on Steps. On Android: open Health Connect → App permissions → Radstep → allow Steps. On Android, your steps also need a source — Google Fit, Samsung Health, or your device's built-in step counter.
No. Your phone counts steps on its own all day. Radstep simply reads that step count from Apple Health or Health Connect and credits your progress the next time you open the app. There's no session to start or keep running.
Radstep uses the step total from Apple Health or Health Connect, so it should match those apps closely. Manually entered steps are excluded to keep things fair, and there's a daily cap of 60,000 credited steps. Steps walked before you created your account don't count. On Android, if Health Connect has no steps for the day, Radstep falls back to your phone's built-in step counter.
Yes. You can delete your entire account and all associated data from Settings → Delete Account. Radstep only stores your step totals and game progress, never your location, so there are no routes or maps to manage.

Social & Groups

Open Social, tap the friends button and choose Find friends, then search by username and send a request. You can also tap Add friend on any player's profile. They'll get a notification to accept.
A guild is a team of up to 30 players with a leader and officers. Every week all members are automatically entered in the Weekly Guild Race, a seven-day step race: passing step milestones earns you eggs and Super Candy, and the top walkers in the guild share a Spark prize. Your guild also levels up from its members' steps, and each level gives members an XP boost (up to +15%) on any day they walk at least 3,000 steps.
Yes. Go to Settings → Privacy and choose who can see your profile: Everyone, Friends only, or Private (no one else).
Open their profile and tap Report. Guilds and camps can be reported the same way. You can also block a player from their profile, and manage blocked players in Settings → Privacy → Blocked Users. Or email us at [email protected] with details. We take reports of harassment, cheating or abusive content seriously and act on all valid reports.

Privacy & Data

None. Radstep does not use GPS or location at all and requests no location permissions. The only fitness data we read is your step count, with your permission, from Apple Health or Health Connect. See our full Privacy Policy for details.
No. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for third-party advertising. We share data only with service providers necessary to run the app (such as RevenueCat for subscriptions), as described in our Privacy Policy.
To request a copy of your data or to delete your data, email [email protected] from your registered email address. You can also delete your entire account (and all associated data) from Settings → Delete Account. We process data requests within 30 days.
