⚡ Common Issues & Quick Fixes
Steps not counting
Radstep reads your step count from your device's health platform, so make sure access is granted. On iOS: open the Health app → Profile → Apps → Radstep → turn on Steps. On Android: open Health Connect → App permissions → Radstep → allow Steps. On Android, also ensure a source app (Google Fit, Samsung Health) or your device's step counter is recording steps.
Step count seems incorrect
Your step total comes from Apple Health or Health Connect, so it should match what those apps show. Manually-entered steps are excluded to keep things fair. There's a daily cap of 60,000 credited steps. On Android, if Health Connect has no steps for the day, Radstep falls back to your phone's built-in step counter.
XP or rewards not credited after walking
Steps sync to your account in the background. Check that you have an active internet connection and that the app is open or has recently run. If rewards are still missing after 10 minutes, email us with the date and your step count.
Subscription not unlocking premium features
Open the Shop, open Radstep Pro and tap Restore purchases. If that doesn't work, sign out and back in. Subscriptions are tied to your Apple/Google account — make sure you're signed in with the same account used during purchase.
Can't log in / forgot password
Use the Forgot Password link on the login screen to receive a reset email. Check your spam folder. If you signed up with Google or Apple, use that sign-in method — a password reset email won't work for social login accounts.
App crashes or won't open
Force-close the app and reopen it. If the issue persists, try uninstalling and reinstalling — your account data is saved to the cloud. Make sure your OS and the app are up to date.
